Refund and cancellation policy
This policy applies to paid Edgecomputepro tuition: the Commodity Chart Reading Intensive, private mentoring, small-group workshops, and single chart review sessions. It does not cover products we do not sell, such as software subscriptions or physical merchandise beyond session materials already included in a programme fee.
Eligibility overview
Refunds depend on how far in advance you cancel, whether a deposit or full fee was paid, and whether tuition or custom materials have already begun. Australian Consumer Law rights remain available where applicable.
Timeframes
- Intensives: Full refund of fees paid (minus any non-refundable deposit component disclosed at booking) if you cancel in writing at least fourteen days before the first session. Cancellations between thirteen and seven days before the start may receive a fifty percent refund of the remaining balance after the deposit. Within six days of the first session, fees are generally non-refundable unless we cancel the programme.
- Workshops: Cancel fourteen or more days before the workshop date for a full refund of fees paid. Within fourteen days, we offer a transfer to a later published workshop where seats exist, or a fifty percent refund if no transfer is possible.
- Mentoring and single reviews: Cancel or reschedule at least forty-eight hours before the appointment for a full credit or refund. Later cancellations or no-shows forfeit the session fee.
Deposits
Deposits that secure intensive or workshop places are described in your booking confirmation. Where a deposit is labelled non-refundable, it compensates preparation and held capacity; the remainder of the fee follows the timeframes above.
Work already started
Once intensive sessions or custom chart packs prepared for your markets have begun, refunds are limited to unused future sessions on a pro-rata basis at our discretion, less the non-refundable deposit. Completed mentoring hours are not refundable.
Purchased or prepared materials
Printed chart packs and digital case files supplied for your cohort are included in programme fees. They are not sold separately and are not returnable for refund once issued.
Rescheduling
We allow one complimentary reschedule of a mentoring or review appointment when notice meets the forty-eight-hour rule. Additional reschedules may incur an administrative fee of AU$40. Intensive start dates may be moved once if the new cohort has capacity and at least fourteen days’ notice is given.
No-shows
Failure to attend a scheduled video or studio session without notice is treated as a completed session for fee purposes.
How to request a refund
Email info@edgecomputepro.digital with your name, programme, booking date, and reason. You may also call (03) 6241 7558. We confirm eligibility within five business days.
Processing time and method
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method within ten business days of approval. Bank processing times may add several days.
Our cancellations
If Edgecomputepro cancels a programme or appointment, you may choose a full refund or transfer to a later date. We are not responsible for travel or lodging you arranged independently unless required by law.
